Courseware Description
This courseware is designed to enable new users to learn about the features and functions of AutoCAD Map® 3D software to create, manage, and analyze geospatial data. Users learn the fundamental and advanced features of the geospatial tools in AutoCAD Map 3D.
Objective
The primary objective of the course is for students to learn the geospatial fundamentals of AutoCAD Map 3D, and through hands-on exercises learn how to create, edit, manage, and analyse geospatial data such as SDF or SHP files.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Access geospatial data
- Stylize geospatial data
- Manage 3D raster data
- Perform analysis with geospatial data
- Migrate between types of geospatial data.
Who Should Attend
This courseware is designed for new users of AutoCAD Map 3D who want to use geospatial data.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that students complete the AutoCAD Essentials and AutoCAD Map 3D Essentials courses. It is also recommended that the student have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® 2000.
