Courseware Description
This course will teach the AutoCAD Map user how to manage Aerial Imagery whether in ECW, Mr SID, JPG or other formats. The user will also be shown how to manage multiple data files as with OS 1/10000 and 1/50000 image files.
Objectives
The objective of the course is to teach the AutoCAD Map user how to manage Aerial and other raster data using the manipulation tools built into the product. Some image files are already geo-referenced whilst others need to be geo-referenced within Map, and the course deals with the different file types and how they can be treated. The course also explains how non geo-referenced tiled images can be managed using the Map Attach procedure.
Who Should Attend
Any AutoCAD Map user who uses or manages Aerial and other Raster data.
Prerequisites
The attendee should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Map.
