- AIT SPATIAL specialises in providing a range of interactive map-based solutions which include grounds management problems. The Eye-TREE software allows you to record the details of tree stock and other aspects of your grounds onto an interactive digital map and associated database.
- Description:
Flexible - whilst primarily aimed at the management of tree stock the system can be easily extended to map any other type of information you require. For example, lighting, boundaries, building maintenance, rare species, wildlife records, historical features or could also be used by Estates Management, for cleaning schedules, renovation records, inventory of assets or maintenance of fire equipment to name a few.
Recording - the grounds in this way enables easier and more efficient coordination and maintenance as you can see the bigger picture of what work needs to be done and when. Consequently you can plan and share activities more effectively. For example an accurate record of the trees allows you to know which species are present in the grounds, whether they are due maintenance or inspection work and other important details. Keeping an accurate record of any rare species of plants or trees is important for conservation and maintaining our natural heritage.
Budget - Eye-TREE is also a useful budgeting tool allowing you to accurately plan planting densities. For example how many flowers would be needed to fill a flowerbed thereby reducing over purchase. The software also allows you to produce your own paper and digital maps of the estate to be shared with staff, contractors and even visitors.
Safety - Map risk areas and therefore pay particular attention to which safety features need servicing or which trees need extra attention along public walkways. This helps prevent accidents, but also provides a record that the necessary actions have been taken.
Options - Eye-TREE is simple and easy to use even for those with little IT experience. It is also available as a hosted option meaning that we will manage the site for you while you will be able to view it whenever you wish via a password protected Internet site.
