Local Authorities
Whether a County Council, City Council, Borough Council, District Council or Unitary Authority etc, there are some 30,000 different Local Authority (LA) organisations in the UK, all of which have a need for GIS and mapping solutions.
As a specialist provider of such solutions, AIT Spatial has the knowledge, experience and track record to enable Local Authorities maximise the use of their data in all departments. As an Engineering and Architectural draughting system, AutoCAD is used extensively in many Local Authorities, but has the integration of this information with other GIS data been considered? Most Engineering plans are based on Ordnance Survey background data, but how much other data could be shared between departments?

- Translating OS MasterMap for AutoCAD users

- Maintaining the Authorities own mapping system and ensuring that all users have access to the data required with the most appropriate application.
